    足趾容積測量儀是用于解熱抗炎藥物篩選和鑒定的儀器，是一種通過測量大鼠足趾致炎腫脹后的消腫過程來評價藥物的效價，了解藥物作用時間和藥效規律的儀器。該儀器有測量準確、計時準確、打印準確的準確性和操作上的方便性，該儀器與國外同類產品相比無論在式樣結構、精度上都提高了一個檔次，但對介質（液體）的使用要求和對操作技術上的要求遠低于國外同類產品。
